    The vineyards surrounding the "Santa Caterina Langhe Country House" are cultivated by co-owner Paola Oberto, a winemaker for over 30 years. She and her farm nurture them and transform the high-quality grapes into five very different, high-quality wines. Her goal is to recognize the unique and natural characteristics of each grape variety and then infuse them into equally authentic wines that reflect the exceptional terroir from which they originate.
    Since 2023, graduate agronomist Paola Oberto, assisted by her son Andreas, in addition to the Barolo that she continues to cultivate in the municipality of La Morra, has produced first the wines Favorita Langhe DOC “Sansussì”, Barbera superiore DOC “Santa Caterina” and Nebbiolo Langhe DOC “Matiné”, later adding in 2025 a balanced blend of Barbera and Nebbiolo called Langhe Rosso DOC “Clarascum”, the ancient Latin name of the municipality of Cherasco where the vineyards are located.
